Oh well, back to work…
There was once a time when an individual who was looking for something great well outside the norm they had to spend vast amounts of time and energy seeking it out. We, however live in a brave new world. The proliferation of the internet has made it easier than ever to seek out B to Z grade entertainment. We here at Trash Cookies have wasted many hours of our lives and uncountable amounts of money in the search for that lost or over looked gem that we have yet to lay our eyes on. In a bold attempt to make ourselves feel a little better in regard to the time and money that we will never get back we have chosen to share some of the gold that we have found in the trash. Maybe you will find an album that you have never heard or a film that you have never seen. Or maybe you will go out and by a dvd based on our suggestions and you will be writing us to try and get your two hours back… I’ll tell you this from personal experience… You can’t get it back, you can never get it back.]]>
About three years ago now I had just lost my job, I’d moved back in with my folks, and I was struggling to find direction. Luckily I got an invite out on the road with The Dollyrots, Helper Monkeys and The Groovie Ghoulies. I spent the last few dollars I had on a camera and snapped off as many pics as I could.
The trip across the country and back was an adventure I’ll not soon forget. Life on the road isn’t what you see on TV but it isn’t all that bad either. Kelly, Luis, Amy, Craig, Jaz, Jeff, Mac, Kepi, Roach, Scampi, and of course Sniffy thanks again for letting me tag along.]]>
